You have your big idea right, the big idea that you are going to focus on implementing. In our previous post “Too Many Ideas, Too Little Time”, we discussed how you should focus your energy on one and only one idea at a time to be successful. Assuming you have this idea, you have to start planning how your going to take action! This article is not intended to show you how to make a business plan, or any techniques on planning. There are experts out there to show you how to plan, search planning in our GOOLGE search to the right. This article is more of a caution to you, to help you not get stuck in a rut during this crucial stage.

When planning that big idea that is going to make all your dreams come true, you will be temped to plan every single detail before your ready to put your plan into action. Planning is necessary and every good business or idea needs a business plan, and organization to get off the ground. But, and a BIG BUT, don’t plan so much that you never actually take action! Reasoning behind this is the more time it takes you to plan, the more your doubts have time to kick in. You will begin to tell yourself,

” I will launch my business as soon as this is in place, and I have that lined up. I can’t start until everything is perfect.”

9 times out of 10 it will never be perfect, take action, get started, then learn and grow as you move forward. If you wait for the timing to be right, or your business plan to be perfect, your idea will never get off the ground. Get enough done to just get started, and you will learn as you go.

“Do not wait; the time will never be just right. Start where you stand, and work with whatever tools you may have at your command, and better tools will be found as you go along.”- Napoleon Hill
