 Lamborghini Murcielago LP640

What’s that one thing, that one item that you have always wanted to achieve, and just assumed you could never have it? For me its the Lamborghini. I have been fantasizing about this car since I was in the third grade. I was exposed to it when my teacher requested the class to get a book from the library. I wanted something fairly thin that looked cool (ironically I didn’t like reading much). I reached in and pulled out a small book about exotic cars. Once flipping through the pages that was it, a new world opened to me instantly! I wanted the contents of that book right then, even though the driving period was far in my future, I was like 9.

I will never forget asking my mom to buy me a Lamborghini Countach (below to the right) if I got straight A’s from then (3rd grade) through High School! My rational was, “look ma it only costs $55,000.00, all you have to do is get 1000 dollars 55 times and you can buy it for me LOL! She laughed at me and said, “if you get straight A’s I will get it for you”, yeah right! Best believe I tried though! LOL

When you’re a kid you believe the possibilities are endless on what you can do or have. Why do we lose this way of thinking as adults when it’s so true and valid? I guess after life beats you up a little it purges these beliefs from your soul, unless you have someone there to constantly remind you, “anything is possible”. Revisit that inner child in you who believes you can have what ever you want. Instead of wishing upon a star, wish upon yourself.

I have learned to unleash my dreams and believe in myself and what I can achieve. I’m back to that child like state when it comes to possibilities, but with a distinct difference. I’m actively pursuing my dreams and really believing I can achieve them. The Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 (or what ever the current model is at the time) is that quintessential goal in my life that will let me know I have done it! I pursued a goal that seemed unattainable and actually achieved it! Think about that, how would it make you feel if you achieved something you have been wanting deep down in your gut, that no one thought possible? That’s living, that’s the way to have a life full of hope, fun, and adventure. Indiana Jones movies would be a wast of time if he wasn’t chasing something. Some of you may be thinking, what if you never make it? I don’t think that way anymore, but if I didn’t, half way there would still be pretty sweet! Porsche maybe LOL

This car is simply ridiculous. I would love to have one just to play around in but I don’t think I would want to own one.
