The American Dream, For Real…?

What is your ideal existence?

The American Dream is an ideal. There shouldn’t be an American Dream. There should be an individual dream, where people don’t conform to what’s expected to be their “Goal in Life”. In some eyes I live the American Dream right now. I own my own home, and have a good “job”. The fact is, this is not my dream. It’s an existence.

Most people let their reality determine their future. So when I ask the question, “what is your ideal existence?” really think hard, but ruling out the following:

-Other peoples opinion
-Money
-How your going to do it

Now that we know the rules. Lets get started…

The key is to figure out what you really want first, then explore how your going to get it afterwards. Answer the following questions (my answers are in green)

1. Where do you want to live?
   • Actually, where ever my family is, but I would love Atlanta, Toronto, Houston, Phoenix, or San Diego
2. What type of home do you want?
   • Florida style home, with a very open floor plan, and lots of windows, namely SORRENTO
3. How would you like your home furnished?
   • All the stuff already in SORRENTO , it comes fully furnished. Though I’m sure I will add countless features that you will learn about in future posts.
4. What type of automobiles and transportain would you like?
   1. 1 SUV (Range Rover Sport), Mostly German Sport Coupes/Convertibles, an a couple Italian monster cars i.e. Lamborghini Murcielago LP 640. Recently added the FEARLESS 28
      
5. What type of vacations would you like to take and for how long?
   • Ranging from two weeks to a month long, I would prefer vacationing multiple times a year, which I can take on what ever schedule I choose. Locations include the Caribbean, Europe, Asia, South America, and Africa, the world basically. Check out my traveling goals on FaceBook
     
6. What type of wardrobe would you like?
   • Doesn’t have to be all designer, because many times those high-end designers make clothing uncomfortable. Most of my clothes will be everyday stuff accept for shoes and sunglasses.
7. What type of jewelry items would you own?
   • For jewelry (besides my wedding band) all I need is an astonishing time piece (many of them)! I won’t list any here because rest assured you will see future posts dedicated solely to my favorite watch makers
8. What type of foods would you eat, and where would you dine?
   • Everywhere, I love to eat, and cook. So if it’s good, I want to experience and try to cook it myself. I would make it my purpose to experience the food of the major chef’s around the world. Oh, and everyone on Food Network, specially Paula Dean YALL!
9. How would you like to spend most of your time throughout a typical day?
   • I would prefer to workout in the morning. Do something productive that I enjoy in the afternoon, and enjoy time with family and friends in the evenings. I want to have the option for any day of the week to be my Saturday! I don’t have kids yet, but when I do this answer will change drastically.
10. What would you do for entertainment?
    • Parties, Shows, Movies, Premieres, and Social events. Petty much what I do now, accept there will be no barrier on when I go for entertainment, or where. i.e. I’m flying out to Toronto tonight for a party, if nothing else is going on I will be back on Friday…LOL
11. What would you do for your “purpose” in life?
    • Continue to spread awareness on limitless potential and achievement. Work with others to help them find their passion and continue to expose the everyday Joe to what’s out there and all the possibilities on this earth.
      
12. What will your family/love life be like?
    • Well I’m happily married now and kids will comes eventually. I am very big on family and spending time with the one’s you love. It kinda goes back to the point of this whole blog, when you (and not your job) control your time, money, and destiny, you can spend as much time as you like with family. THE aspect of success I’m most excited about.
