Everyone has had one, but few take it seriously. Every great idea you have is only great in the eyes of the right person. That person has to be you. You know those times when your sitting around with friends & family conversing about this, that, & the other and all of a sudden you hear the phrase forming, “You know it would be sweet if…!”
“STOP!”
Some great idea is about to spill from this person’s mouth! Here is where you capitalize. Turn on that data capturing devise called a brain and record every detail of this new “sweet idea”. When you get home do the next best thing, “GOOGLE IT FOOL” LOLS…
Meaning go search for the topic and see if it’s already out there, and if anybody has capitalized on it. If not this is where ACTION is required, because their are probably 5 other people in the world who just had this same thought. Procrastination is a killer, but innovation is what drives your future!
Example, remember that tv commercial with the catchy slogan, only to realize, HEY I THOUGHT OF THAT A WHILE AGO! But guess what, you just witnessed money changing hands off of something you thought of first.
A Genius is not the person who thinks of the idea first, it’s the first person to take action - emdoozie
So assume that for every grate idea that crosses your mind, their are 5 other people who just thought of the same thing, you wanna be the Genius right? Take Action!
Don’t think this only has to occur with friends and family, you’d be surprised how many ideas just pour out of the sky if your paying attention. This may be wrong to tell you, but anyways here goes. As you move throughout your day listen, to everything, people walking by, on the elevator, in the line at the grocery store. Everyone once in a while you will hear that phrase again, “You know it would be great if…” now you know what to do. Act on this slipped idea… The wrong part is you could have just stolen this person’s idea, but hey the “Go Getter” is always looking to take action and capitalize. New idea, business plan, developing a new idea.
