iPhone FaceBook app update

By emdoozie. Posted in Technology | No Comments »

The new FaceBook app on the iPhone is really sweet. They took the first iteration and completely overhauled it. It’s now much easier to track everything you would usually track on the online application right on your iPhone. Some of the new things I am really enjoying are direct photo uplaods, notifications, and the tabbed layout. Besides the box applications usually used online, it seems easier to just manage your FaceBook presence soley on your iPhone. Pretty sweet indeed.

Interesting video seen on the Today Show about scientist experimenting with Atom Smashing Pumpkins. Strike Pumpkins from that sorry couldn’t resist.

They attempt to relieve worry by releasing YouTube rap videos. Guess we will see…

A friend, blogger behind Byte Size Reviews, recommended that I make doozieUp iPhone ready using Brave New Code’s WPTouch plugin for wordpress. As you can see from the images below, this is a great plugin, and allows this site to be easily read using the iPhone. Go try it out and add me to your home screen!

Notice my Custom Icon (upper right) which can be bookmarked and added to your iPhone home screen.

Reading my posts are now easier than ever.

Also full access to the menu for easy navigation.

Amosu’s ultra lux devices are clearly for the high spenders and that “well to do” crowd with their diamond studded iPhones and such. Fetching prices upwards of $20,000.00 leads one to ask, what type of person is willing to spend that much money for a phone that will be updated every year? I guess you can send it back to get the diamonds stripped off to add it to your new version (3G), or maybe add it to the display case next to past diamond studded collections. My question is, “what type off success has led Amosu Clients to their level of prowess to where they can afford one, and how can I get that in my life”?

How do you learn from your examples? By now almost everyone has heard of James Dyson and his Dyson Vacuum Cleaners. But do you know the story of where he came from and the journey he traveled to get to his current level of success? Some do, others don’t, but what’s for sure is if he didn’t know what he wanted and dreamed big, his inventions wouldn’t be featured in retail stores and museums throughout the world.

In my opinion I am not very good at any one thing, but I do know in all things I am persistent and determined to live the life I have imagined for myself. No matter what I try, be it a new idea, or a joining business venture, I will continue to go after my “ideal life”. I got it, I’m good at trying stuff and hoping it takes me to my dreams, laughing! It took Dyson 14 years before his first product hit a retail store. He could have given up on year 6, 7, or 8. Through those 5000 prototypes of developing his product what number would you have quit on? From what I have read about James Dyson and now understand is if you enjoy what your doing it doesn’t matter how long it takes to become successful, because your enjoying the ride. Find what you love, go after it, and dream big. Never know where you’ll end up?

From Dyson.com:

“You know the feeling when some everyday product lets you down. ‘I could have designed this better myself’, you think. But how many of us turn our thoughts into actions?

James Dyson does.

He is a man who likes to make things work better. With his research team he has developed products that have achieved sales of over $6 billion worldwide”

Ron Motor Company ScorpionI may offend the environmentalist every now and then with my rants about the hottest exotic cars on the market. Most of which may get 8 miles to the gallon on a good day. Well I have found the car to please both worlds. Ron Motor Companies‘ Scorpion. A high performance exotic sporting twin turbo, 400+ horsepower Hydrogen performance.

The Scorpion looks really sweet with that “one-off” never before seen look to it. You can pull up in this and turn heads while simultaneously helping the environment by reducing your carbon footprint. I love the looks of this cars, and it comes in some color schemes that reminds me of those “Hot Wheels” toy cars I used to get as a kid that changed colors in hot and cold water. LOLRon Motor Company Scorpion

I guess the more our fuel crisis grows car enthusiasts are gong to have to start making some hard choices when it comes to giving up there tarmac scorching super cars for the less powerful hybrids. I am happy to see auto manufacturers trying hard to bridge the gap between Super Car & Environment friendly vehicles. Until the time when Exotics & Eco friendly cars are created equal, I still must have my beloved Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 & the 911 Turbo Cabriolet!

Ron Motor Company on Hydrogen Fuel Technology:

Ron Motor Company ScorpionHydrogen Fuel Injection (HFI) produces hydrogen during vehicle operation through electrolysis of water using the power generated from the vehicles electrical system. A small amount of hydrogen added to the vehicles intake air/fuel mixture allows the engine to operate with less fossil fuel.  Ronn Motor Company will use this technology in its revolutionary Scorpion to achieve lower emissions and vastly improved fuel economy.

There are two main kinds of Hydrogen Hybrid automobile. These are fuel cell vehicles and Hydrogen internal combustion engines, (HICE) like our first automobile “The Scorpion”. Fuel cell vehicles are electric cars. Hydrogen is pumped into a tank in the car, just as gasoline. The hydrogen gas is then fed into the fuel cell where it is electrochemically converted into electricity–with no combustion, no moving parts and no emissions other than water vapor. The electricity is used to power the vehicle.

Hydrogen ICE vehicles use a regular combustion engine modified to use gaseous hydrogen instead of liquid gasoline (much like a natural gas vehicle is modified). They burn hydrogen or a combination of gasoline and hydrogen, but since there is no carbon in hydrogen, there are no or almost no CO2 emissions and only trace amounts of NOx (oxides of nitrogen). Hydrogen ICE vehicles are typically about 30-50% more efficient than comparable gasoline vehicles.

The 3G iPhone

Due out on July 11th I can wager many will be waiting in line just to brag to their friends and blog aboutiPhone features being the first to have one. As evidenced when the first generation iPhone arrived last year, Apple had plenty on supply and the whole waiting inline bit was more so for entertainment purposes as it turned out. I would presume the same will result on the 11th.

Though I don’t blame them as I believe the iPhone is changing the world and the way people live. Having the full knowledge and power of the internet at your beck and call when ever you desire should not betaken lightly. Now even more so with 3G speeds. As I have mentioned in recent posts the greatest ideas which change lives come about in
